Coziest place with so much to offer

What a great decision to choose the Carriage House over a hotel or any other accommodation! it was perfect for our family of four. The owners have paid so much attention to detail, the place is absolutely lovely, very well maintained and in pristine condition. There is a gazebo and play area for kids, it definitely offers much more than just a place to sleep. The geographic location was ideal since we were within 15 minutes of most places we wanted to visit during our stay in Lancaster County. Highly recommend and will use again on our next visit.

Delightful, Comfortable and Immaculate Retreat!

A lot of thought and effort has gone into preparing this tasteful, comfortable suite. Everything is immaculate, and so inviting. All the furnishings are highest quality, and the bed and pillows are the most comfortable ever. The electric fireplace added a cozy touch to the winter evenings. We loved the complimentary friendship bread awaiting us. Communication and support were excellent, and the location is ideal. We will be back!

Spring in PA

We love the area and typically stay at an Ephrata hotel when we visit. We decided to try something different when we found the Carriage House advertised in a pamphlet at the Treasure Place in Intercourse. This place is much nicer than a hotel. Exceptionally clean. Private. Centrally located so all the things we wanted to see were just a short drive away. The owners were very pleasant, even taking the time to send us something we had left behind. We will definitely stay again when we return to the area.

Lovely Suite

We enjoyed our stay very much. The Hideaway was very spacious with all of the amenities, Location is great in middle of the Amish community. Enjoyed the Corner Coffee shop also!

Back Again!

This was our second time at this property, each time a different rental. The owners are great and there is nothing left to want. Close to everything yet a bit secluded when at home. We will be back many more times!

Awesome!

Beautiful place to stay. The best part was Cooper and Riley, their two dogs! Best greeters ever! Definitely recommend this place. Loved the gazebo and the swing outside!

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I needed a weekend away and the Hideaway was the perfect spot. The suite is beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. It literally has everything that you need. As previous reviewers mentioned, Cooper was definitely one of the many highlights of our trip. He was our friendly watch dog and greeted us when we arrived near 7:30pm. It was truly a pleasure exploring Lancaster, and then returning to the warmth of the Hideaway. Oh and I can't forget to mention the amazing customer service from Fan. She is friendly, professional and caring. I have already recommended the Hideaway to family and friends.

Cute, Clean, & Convenient!

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Smucker's Carriage House. It was very comfortable, clean, well equipped, and convenient to all of the fun activities in Lancaster County PA. Fan added so many details and special touches that made our stay enjoyable. The coffee and friendship bread were a great way to start the day. Thanks and we will be back!!!

AMAZING!!!

We had a girl's weekend here with three generations, grandma, mom, and daughter. Everyone loved the Carriage House. It was beautiful and spotless. The furnishings and decor were cozy and elegant. We have been to this area before and stayed in hotels. Never again will we do that! Next time we come out this way we will for sure book the Carriage House. It was close to everything we wanted to do but you still got that country feel. We told all our family and friends about it. If you are contemplating booking this property, do it!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Beautiful Suite and Relaxing Country Surroundings

Friends of ours recommended the Carriage House for our sisters get-away weekend. The Carriage House was very clean and the bed was beyond comfortable. This property is just minutes from downtown Intercourse and Kitchen Kettle Village and only a few miles to the outlets and Sight and Sound. We highly recommend staying here in the Fall months as the property is surrounded by farmland with gorgeous views.

Wonderful stay!

This was perfect for our family! The main room was spacious and comfortable. Both the bed and the sofa-bed were comfortable. It was well stocked with fridge, microwave, paper products, coffee and a nice Amish friendship bread, and it was exceptionally clean! The location was quiet and cozy and a good home-base for our daytime excursions. We hope to come back sometime!

Great place to see Lancaster sights! Cozy and beautiful!

This was an excellent vacation spot. The Carriage House was so clean and beautifully decorated! It's a gorgeous location with a relaxed and serene landscape. There's much to do in the area and staying here made it more enjoyable and convenient. I would highly recommend staying at either of their suites. Love their dog Cooper too! My husband doesn't usually enjoy traveling but said he'd come here again.

A lovely peaceful spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Carriage House. Well appointed, quiet and in the heart of the country yet handy to all the local spots of interest. We enjoyed the courtyard which meant one night we could have a picnic tea with local produce. Also enjoyed the tea in Fan's Corner Coffee Shop.

Perfect! The Carriage House is an exceptional living space surrounded by the most picturesque landscape. You will fall in love with Lancaster County after a stay here. The furnishings are comfortable and tasteful. The kitchen is loaded with amenities. The owners are available but not intrusive. 5 stars. A+. However you want to word it, I guarantee you will adore this place!

Wow, what a beautiful place in the Amish community

We were blown away by this rental, it went way beyond our expectations. The place was so beautiful inside and out. The place was so clean and comfortable, it was home away from home. So relaxing, the couch and chair was so comfortable, as well as the bed. Whenever we decide to visit the area, this will be our choice to stay at and we will make reservations well ahead of time as not to miss out on this place. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area, do not miss this place.
